United North Texas Youth Football Association (UNTX)
TYA is a member of the United North Texas Youth Football Association (UNTX).
UNTX brings together some of the strongest youth football programs in the region, uniting communities that share a commitment to developing young athletes both on and off the field.

The association proudly represents 14 communities across North Texas: Forney, Saginaw, Kennedale / Mansfield, Ennis, Ferris, Waxahachie, Midlothian, Burleson, Keller Central, Terrell, Lake Worth, Seagoville, Castleberry, and Denton.

When is the first game of the season?
The first game of the 2026 football season is Saturday, August 29.
When will game schedules be released?
Game schedules will be available after Certification Day on August 1. Once schedules are finalized, they will be shared with families as soon as possible.
What is Certification Day?
Certification Day is required for every athlete. Players must be certified in order to participate in games.
Certification Date: August 1
A makeup certification will be held on August 15. A $50 late certification fee will be charged to each athlete.
When and where are practices?
Practice schedules are determined by each team's head coach. Coaches will communicate their team's specific practice dates and times.
Most teams generally practice Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30–8:00 p.m. at Ben Gill Park.
Who will notify me of my team's practice schedule?
Your athlete's head coach will contact you with team-specific information, including practice schedules, locations (if different), and other important updates.
Will there be more information released before the season?
