TYA FOOTBALL INFORMATION & FAQ

TYA competes under the Northwest Texas Youth Football Association (NWTYFA), which is a recreation-based league. Other participating organizations are: Ennis, Ferris, Red Oak, Saginaw, Burleson, Keller, Kennedale, Lake Worth, Richland, Midlothian, Seagoville, Terrell, and Waxahachie.

Be prepared for travel to away games.

NWTYFA is “age pure,” meaning players only compete with others of the same age (cutoff date: September 1st).

Playing Up: A child can only move up one age level and must pass an evaluation by the head coach and/or a board member for safety.

NWTYFA follows NCAA/UIL rules.
