2026 Fall Ball Information

Terrell Youth Athletes is excited to announce that traditional recreational baseball is back for the Fall 2026 season!

This fall, TYA teams will compete in the Kaufman Lions Club Baseball League, bringing back the classic weeknight recreation baseball experience focused on player development, teamwork, and fun.

Whether your athlete is picking up a glove for the first time or returning to the field, TYA is committed to providing a positive recreational baseball experience where every player has the opportunity to learn, grow, and have fun.

We look forward to seeing you on the field this fall!

Baseball

  • Registration Fee: $140 | July 6- July 30
  • Season: August 31 – Early November
  • Age Cutoff: April 30, 2027
  • Training Camp: July 22–24
  • Games: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings in Kaufman

Your registration includes:

  • Player uniform: Jersey, Hat, Belt, Socks
  • League registration fees
  • Participation in the Kaufman Lions Club Baseball League

BlastBall

BlastBall is designed for our youngest athletes and provides a fun, age-appropriate introduction to baseball while teaching the fundamentals in an encouraging environment.

  • Registration Fee: $40
  • Season: September 3 – October 29
  • Games: Tuesdays and Thursdays
  • Ages: 4 years and under

Is TYA bringing back traditional recreational baseball?

Yes! We're excited to return to a traditional recreational baseball format this fall. Families can expect weeknight practices, scheduled league games, player development, and a fun community-focused experience.

What league will TYA play in?

This fall, Terrell Youth Athletes will participate in a recreational league with Kaufman and Crandall, giving our athletes the opportunity to compete against neighboring communities while keeping the focus on development and fun.

When are practices?

Most teams will practice on Monday and Wednesday evenings.

Practice times and any additional team information will be shared by your head coach once teams are formed.

What ages can play T-Ball?

Our 6U division is T-Ball and is designed for 5 and 6-year-old players, focusing on learning the fundamentals in a fun, encouraging environment.

BlastBall is available for our youngest athletes. ages 4 years and under, and provides a great introduction to baseball through fun, age-appropriate instruction and games.

Will games be played during the week?

Yes! Our recreational league primarily features weeknight games played in Kaufman, with schedules provided after teams are finalized by the league.

My child has never played baseball. Is there an opportunity to try it first?

Absolutely! We will be hosting a FREE Baseball Camp before the season begins. It's a great opportunity for new players to learn the basics, meet coaches, and see what baseball is all about before the season starts.

We'll also have volunteers available during camp to answer questions and help families register if your athlete is ready to join the season.

Who can register?

TYA Baseball is open to athletes in the appropriate age divisions for the fall season. Players are placed according to the current league age guidelines.

When will I hear from my coach?

Coaches will begin contacting families after registration closes and teams have been formed. You'll receive information about practice schedules, team communication, and the season timeline.

Absolutely. We appreciate the feedback our families shared after the spring season. For the fall, we're returning to a traditional recreational baseball format with weeknight practices and league play against Kaufman and Crandall. Our focus is on providing the kind of community-based baseball experience that many Terrell families have been asking for, and we're excited about the direction of the program moving forward.
