Your $125 registration includes: Team Camp, Camp Attire, Team Welcome Package
Uniform Package
The $200 uniform fee covers the full cheer uniform package, including everything from bow to socks.
Please note: Cheer shoes are not included in the uniform package and must be purchased separately.
Frequently Asked Questions
When and where are cheer practices held?
In past seasons, cheer practices have been held at Ben Gill Park on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., adjacent to the football practice fields. Practice days, times, and locations are subject to change based on individual team needs and field availability.
The first practice of the 2026 season is scheduled for August 11 at 6:30 p.m. Location details will be announced prior to the start of the season.
Official practice schedules, locations, and season expectations will be shared during the Parent Welcome Meeting.
When is the Parent Welcome Meeting?
The Parent Welcome Meeting will be held on July 5 at 2:30 p.m. Location details will be shared with all registered families following the June 30 registration deadline.
All cheerleaders and at least one parent or guardian must be present. This meeting is an important part of preparing for the season and will include: uniform fittings, season overview and expectations, team contract signing, parent committee sign-ups, practice information and schedules, and Q&A with Coach K
If a cheerleader and parent are unable to attend the July 5 meeting, a make-up meeting will be held on July 12 at 2:30 p.m.
Will cheerleaders travel to away games?
Yes. TYA Cheer teams will travel to away football games throughout the season to support our athletes and represent Terrell Youth Athletes.
When is cheer camp?
Team Camp is scheduled for August 7–9 and is mandatory for all cheerleaders. Additional details regarding camp times, location, and what to bring will be provided closer to the event.
When will the season schedule be available?
The official cheerleading schedule will be released during the first week of August after the football schedule has been finalized following certification.
