Who We Are...

Terrell Youth Athletes (TYA) is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, founded in 2016, dedicated to empowering the youth of Terrell, Texas through the transformative power of sports. We believe in fostering teamwork, discipline, and leadership, creating a positive and inclusive environment where every child can develop essential life skills and achieve personal growth, both on and off the field. Our mission is to inspire and nurture a generation of resilient and passionate young athletes, while building a stronger community through unity and shared success.

What We Do...

TYA provides access to organized sports programs for children in Terrell, including football, cheer, drill, softball, and baseball. We focus on skill development, character building, and promoting healthy lifestyles. Beyond the playing field, we host annual community engagement events like our Daddy/Daughter Dance, Mother/Son Nerf War, and pep rally events throughout the year. These events strengthen community bonds, celebrate our athletes, and create lasting memories. We strive to provide quality equipment, maintain safe playing fields, and offer enriching experiences that would otherwise be inaccessible to many of our low-income families.
